Trio WoWaKin (Poland)
Trio performs mazurkas, oberkas, polkas, kuyaviaks, tangos, foxtrots, songs and lullabies from the regions of Radom, Kielce and Sanniki. The members of WoWaKin play not only violin, three-row Polish squeezbox and drums, they also use banjouke and harmonica.
In 2016 the band debuted on the most important folk music competition in Poland “The New Tradition” wining the third place. The Trio also won third prize at the festival “Folkowe Mikołajki” 2016 in Lublin. Since then the band gave a lot of concerts. Their first CD album called “Kraj za miastem” was released in 2017.
