Multicoloured, intricately embroidered floral compositions on the one hand, and on the other geometric herrings, cormorants and flatfish – welcome to the world of Pomeranian textiles! The unique exhibits – antique fishermen’s carpets (Pommersche Fischerteppiche), embroidered fabrics, sketches, photographs, as well as archival audio and video recordings – show the history of the origin of Kashubian embroidery and Pomeranian fishermen’s carpets.
The exhibition is open from 24 May to 29 July 2024.
